Torque the Greyhound and Shrek the Owl
A greyhound called Torque adopted this baby owl at a British animal center.


Wilma the Ostrich and Bea the Giraffe
Keepers at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fla., inform that this unexpected pair — Bea, the giraffe, and Wilma, the ostrich — have grown to be inseparable buddies.


Kasi the Cheetah and Mtani the Dog
Also found at Busch Gardens, Kasi and Mtani are best pals since they were little babies.

This might change some people’s perception about Pit Bulls. The chick is now a rooster and they are still close friends.

A Monkey and a Deer
This cheeky monkey is riding on his friend the deer at the Melaka Zoo in Malaysia.

Bella the Black Labrador and Bubbles the African Elephant
Bubbles and Bella live at the Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina. Bella was abandoned as a puppy at the park’s preserve and then this beautiful relationship was born. They like to go for walks and swims together. Check out their amazing video below.



Candy the Dog and Mani the Wild Boar Piglet
Mani was found starving in a field by a German family in rural Ehringhausen. He was adopted and later introduced to an unlikely friend: Candy, the family’s Jack Russell terrier. Since then, they play and have fun together every day.



Roscoe the Blue Tick Hound and Suryia the Orangutan
They met each other at the South Carolina wildlife reserve. Dogs are usually scared of primates, but in this case they connected since they saw each other the first time. They are now inseparable.

A baby macaque that was abandoned by his mother was not far from death at the time it was found on Neilingding, in Goangdong Province, China. He was taken to an animal hospital and although his health improved, he was very depressed – until he developed a friendship with this pigeon.

Fred the Labrador “adopted” Dennis when he was just a little duckling after his mother was killed by a fox.

Two white tiger cubs were set apart from their mother after their shelter flooded. Fortunately, they found an unusual surrogate mother in Anjana, a chimpanzee who has taken care of the cubs since then.

Snusen the Fox and Tinni the Dog
A photographer in Norway was walking in the forest with his German Shepherd, Tinni, when they found a baby fox. There were no signs of the mother so the photographer took it and named the little fox Snusen. Although the man certainly bonded with Snusen, it was Tinni who became the baby fox’s best friend.
