Even though we are used to think of polar bears in their cold environment, they also enjoy summer and the flowers that come with it. Dennis Fast, a Canadian photographer, discovered a polar bear playing with small purple flowers near Churchill Wild Lodge in Manitoba, which is located in Northern Canada’s Hudson Bay. This is how the photographer describes what he noticed about the polar bear:
“They have a slow, ambling gait as they drift about looking for anything that moves. It looks like they don’t have a care in the world, and that there is nothing they are afraid off. It’s not arrogance, exactly, but a quiet confidence that we often respect in humans and that translates well to the polar bear.”
