Sometimes, you might be having the worst day ever and then you see something that makes your heart happy and before you know it, your troubles all melt away. In fact, studies have shown all of the many benefits of smiling and they are not only associated with your mental health, smiling can make you feel better as well. If you are ready for your smile today, these adorable pictures of harvest mice are sure to put one on your face.
These pictures were taken by a British photographer who loves cute animals just as much as we do. His name is Miles Herbert and he operates a business teaching people how to capture reptiles, frogs, birds and all kinds of critters on film. According to Miles, these pictures were taken at an indoor studio but you would never know it. The studio did just what it was designed to do and the pictures show it.
The mice in these pictures were bred in captivity but they will eventually be released into the wild at a nature preserve. It is a much better idea to use captive animals rather than going out and disturbing the native population.
These harvest mice give us what we need, a good feeling from the heart. They also got something in return because they love the nectar and stamens of flowers. It was a win/win situation and we are coming out on top.
You will love the vivid colors of these beautiful pictures. They are sure to make your day bright. You might even want to bookmark, just so you can come back when you are feeling low.
