The average length of a cat is 46 cms counting its body and head, and the tail is usually 30 cms long. And that’s what we’re used to seeing. But there are breeds that are so far removed from these numbers that they look like mini-lions. Like the Maine Coon, for example, one of these breeds holds the world’s longest cat record. His name is Stewie, and the Guinness Book of Records confirmed that he’s 123 centimeters from tip of nose to tip of tail.
