With the progress of science, the notion of nature seems to be getting less and less miraculous. However there are a number of miracles in nature that not even science can suppress. These include birth and the love of a mother caring for her babies. For Snowbelle, both miracles occurred at the same time. This is her story.
Snowbelle was discovered with her six pups in the snow close to Red Lake in Minnesota. “A resident saw Snowbelle and her babies in the snow and contacted our rescue team about their plight,” Rosie Rescue officials said. It appears that the snow surrounding them had melted from their body heat. “Another resident helping Karen Good, the shelter’s founder, brought Snowbelle and her pups to the shelter. She placed Snowbelle in a kennel with straw and blankets and determined that Snowbelle was so emaciated that her milk had dried up.” People were puzzled to see that the puppies were already three weeks old, and they were amazed at how they made it through the rough weather.
