This is a beautiful and colorful love story. Maura T. Hennelly, 19, shared the story of her lovebirds on Twitter, and the Internet immediately fell in love with these totally opposite birds.
In mid-2017, Maura saw that Kiwi, her male lovebird, seemed sad and lonely, so she brought him a girlfriend, but the relationship didn’t work out. Some time passed and Maura brought him Siouxsie, a female Goth-looking lovebird.
It was love at first sight. These totally opposite-looking lovebirds stole the hearts of many, and their owner was documenting their story. Soon Maura was commenting that Siouxsie was going to lay eggs, and later, that they had had 4 adorable chicks. “Remember Kiwi and his Goth girlfriend? Well, now she’s his Goth wife and they have 4 half-Goth chicks,” Maura wrote on Twitter.
