There is no better place than home, that space where we grow up and feel comfortable, where it is always good to be. Unfortunately, sometimes it is necessary to move, for reasons of work or personal growth, and even if a lot of time passes, it does not mean that we stop missing it.
Well, a dog named Cleo decided to take action to solve this situation. This Labrador traveled from Kansas to Missouri after being “missing”.

It all happened when Colton Michael, the new owner of the house where Cleo used to live, saw a dog outside his house. His wife Britney was the first to see it when she got out of her car and asked, “Where did this dog come from?”
Many claim that thanks to her sense of smell this dog was able to travel so far (50 miles in which no one knows how she fed herself or where she drank water). Apparently she was only interested in going back to her home, that place where she used to sit on the porch all the time.
“At first, she wouldn’t let anyone near her. She got to her old home and saw some strangers living there. That would be scary for anybody.” – said Colton Michael.
Luckily the family managed to gain her trust and were able to take her to the vet to have the microchip checked. When they checked the data, they realized that it belonged to the former owners of the house, so they decided to call them to tell them that their dog was there.

They were surprised to learn that their Cleo had walked that far to get to her old home. According to their estimates, she would have had to cross at least one river to get there.
“It’s the strangest story. Really, she is everything to us and to my mother. It feels really good to be reunited with her.” – said Drew, daughter of Cleo’s owner.
No doubt the dog’s sense of smell is surprising, but also her photographic memory.

This dog is not only loyal to her family, but also to her home where she apparently enjoyed hanging out on sunny afternoons. The truth is that the family is very happy to be reunited with Cleo again.
