The Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre in eastern Australia takes in newborn bats (which they refer to as ‘pups’) in the event their moms have passed away. They additionally take care of grownup bats which are affected by mites as well as other bat illnesses.
They use baby blankets to wrap the baby bats because they don’t have the warm embrace of their mom’ wings. Aren’t they adorable?
