When Lisa M. Ca flew in from Germany to live with her husband in Michigan, she did not expect these feathery critters to follow suit.
During the summer, Lisa decided to feed the neighborhood birds, placing a food bowl right outside of her home. Noticing how beautiful the birds were, she wanted to photograph them from close, so she started researching available cameras that complemented her DSLR. “This is how I found the Bird Photo Booth,” she told Metro Times in an email.
Now Lisa photographs a plethora of varied birds feeding by her home, from Mourning Doves and American Goldfinches to Northern Cardinals. The photos went viral, receiving more than 30,000 shares. She hosts a blog dedicated to her Bird Photo Booth.
“The birds are like little jewels from nature. They make my day,” said Lisa in the email.
