There was simply no way for Phoebe Gill, a 24-year-old pet lover, to tell how the newest addition to her family would adapt before bringing her home.
Phoebe came across an image of Stitch, a one-eyed cat in need of a new home, and immediately set about adopting her.
Clearly, it doesn’t take two eyes to experience love at first sight.
“She had an injury to her eye, which would have been cured with medication but her breeder didn’t take her to a vet. When it got worse, the breeder gave her up and the vet took her in and did the surgery to remove the eye as it was too late to be saved. [I] fell in love at first sight, and brought her home.”
Upon getting her new friend, however, she grew anxious wondering whether her dog, Alaska, would be as thrilled to meet her.
Luckily, Alaska and Stitch became fast friends with an unlikely, yet endearing bond the Internet cannot get enough of.
