Maggie Escriva is intake coordinator to Westie & Scottie Rescue Houston and she also took the role to foster Blossom, a rescue dog momma who had recently lost two of her newborn puppies. The grief Blossom was going through by this loss was almost unbearable for the poor pooch and Maggie was really worried.
Then, 6 newborn puppies showed up in Blossom’s life. The little cuties had gone through a lot, since they were thrown out of the window of a moving truck and their condition was very delicate. Escriva wasn’t sure if Blossom would take them in, but she tried anyways and boy, did it pay off! Blossom saw the puppies and immediately started cleaning them and giving them the love they needed.
They decided to name the puppies after flowers, so they could be part of Blossom’s garden. All of the cuties are doing well and are currently up for adoption!
Tomorrow marks one week since Reed, Ash, Forest, Meadow, Petal, and Fern joined Buttercup in Blossom's little garden! As you can see from this video when they met, they were meant to be hers. We are grateful to everyone involved in rescuing this little family so they will be safe, warm, and dry in the rainy week ahead. 🌺🐾🌼🐾❤️
