Meet the Highland cattle. This Scottish breed is different from the others for its long wavy hair. The uncommon double fur includes an oily external layer – the longest of any cattle type – and a downy undercoat. This aspect causes them to be properly tailored for severe climate conditions in the Highlands where heavy rains and powerful winds are typical. In addition, it implies that Scottish Highland calves are the most adorable little moos ever! Scroll down and enjoy these cute photos.
